About WTKM
Known as The Polka Place, Southeastern Wisconsin's premiere Polka
station WTKM AM & FM features many area bands and welcomes requests from our
loyal listeners. Priority is
given to live remote broadcasts from the many polka events and ethnic festivals
in the region. Heavy emphasis also is devoted to local news and talk as well as high school
sports play-by-play.
The mix of Polka, Big Band and Country Classics invite listener
requests and participation in helping WTKM deliver the "happy sounds" to
Southeastern Wisconsin.
The daily Trading Post program and Ron's Open Line, the area's
longest running locally produced talk show, broaden the scope and involvement
of our listening audience.
Agricultural news makes up a big part of our early morning,
noon-hour and early evening time periods, to serve the rich farm country
that co-exists alongside the growing Milwaukee Metropolitan area here known
as
the KETTLE MORAINE of Wisconsin.
