WTKM AG news host Orion Samuelson is the host of Samuelson Sez and The National Farm Report, heard daily on 104.9, WTKM. Orion also hosts the US Farm Report and is a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2003. He was born on a dairy farm in Ontario, Wisconsin, near LaCrosse. Samuelson considered becoming a Lutheran minister before deciding on radio school. His career started in Wisconsin and took him to WLKJ Sparta, WHBY Appleton and WBAY AM/TV Green Bay. In the 1960s, Samuelson hosted an early-morning show on WGN-TV, Top 'O' the Morning. Samuelson now hosts a similar show, This Week in Agribusiness on RFD-TV along with Max Armstrong. Samuelson and a studio group dubbed the "Uff da Band" once recorded covers of Yogi Yorgesson's novelty songs I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas and Yingle Bells. Samuelson has held the same job in the broadcasting industry for more than 50 consecutive years. Samuelson has been a fixture on 104.9, WTKM for many years!
